The story

1. [Critical to the business. Not ready to launch.](https://coyotiv.com/work/thefreshener/#critical-to-the-business-not-ready-to-launch)
2. [Live software that kept growing with the company.](https://coyotiv.com/work/thefreshener/#live-software-that-kept-growing-with-the-company)

## Critical to the business. Not ready to launch.

TF-Ops was a vibe-coded application: built with AI and grown into a complex system. It was also critical to how TheFreshener wanted to run its operations.

The immediate need was to understand what the company already had, identify what was missing or broken, and get the application ready for everyday use. That required taking responsibility for the existing codebase and the operational workflows behind it.

## Live software that kept growing with the company.

TheFreshener moved from a complex application that needed work before launch to an operations suite running in production.

Continued development let the company expand its operations to new product types. The engagement covered both getting the existing application live and adapting it to what the business needed next.

How it went

## Take ownership, then make it work.

1. Review
### Review the application
We took over TF-Ops and reviewed the codebase, identifying gaps and problems that needed to be addressed before launch. The review gave the work a concrete starting point: what needed fixing for the application to be usable.
2. Launch
### Fix the gaps and launch
We implemented the corrections and brought the application into production. The scope covered the software supporting batch processing, warehouse work, and fulfillment.
3. Connect
### Connect the operation
TF-Ops includes Batch Monitor and Pack’n’Ship. Its workflows process XML batch reports from Google Drive, synchronize orders with Shopify and ShipStation, and provide dashboards for warehouse and fulfillment roles.
4. After launch
### Continue after launch
For months after the initial release, we maintained the application and added new features and integrations as the company’s needs changed.

The result

## Live software that kept growing with the company.

An operations suite running in production, after a complex application that needed work before launch.

Live

Continued development let the company expand its operations to new product types.
