Diversity Scholarships
The Diversity Scholarships
School of Software Engineering: Applications for the diversity scholarships are open!
In a short while, Coyotiv’s very first coding class, aka the School of Software Engineering, is going to start!
The core elements of the course originated in the Women Techmakers Berlin as an initiative to support more women* and people of diverse backgrounds in getting into tech. Armağan has been teaching the JavaScript Crash Course course in the community over the last three years. Thank you, Women Techmakers community, for your enthusiasm, your insights and for carrying the torch!
With many graduates now working as engineers full-time, we have seen the impact knowledge can make. We are committed to continuing this change for many more to come. As an organization, as its people, we believe that diverse teams have the biggest success and are the happiest.
This is why we are giving out diversity scholarships for the School of Software Engineering!
What do the diversity scholarships entail?
The diversity scholarships, once assigned, will cover the full course fee over the 9 weeks. Recipients will enjoy the same services and support as paying students.
As the course is virtual, there will be no lodging/housing or food stipend.
Who can apply?
You can apply for the diversity scholarships if you identify as part of a marginalized group, e.g. women*, members of the LGBTQIA+ communities, people with non-standard economic, migratory or social status, and so forth.
This list is by no means exhaustive, and we will consider every application on its own merit.
How to apply?
