Ready to code your way to a new career? Our next cohort start dates are April 22nd and June 2nd!

Become a Software Engineer with No Upfront Cost

Build the skills to land a junior software engineer role with Coyotiv's 14-week, remote, full-stack software engineering program. Study first, pay later with an Income Share Agreement.

Ready to launch your career in software engineering but need financial support?

Welcome to Coyotiv! Our 14-week program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed as a full-stack software engineer. The school is focused on web development using JavaScript, and you'll also learn industry best practices and methodologies for building and deploying web applications.

We understand that the cost of education can be a concern. That's why we have partnered with Chancen eG to offer Income Share Agreements that cover the entire cost of tuition for our program. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who require financial support.

Discover the curriculum that will transform you into a powerful software engineer

Coyotiv is not a coding bootcamp, but rather a school of software engineering.

You will learn the fundamentals, thinking, and methodology behind software engineering, rather than just how to code.

Our goal is to provide our graduates with the expertise and understanding to stand out in the industry and be respected by their teams for their knowledge and understanding of how software should work.

By the end of your journey you will be fluent in…

In addition, you will also learn…

Guitar

To embrace the importance of challenge, creativity, and collaboration.

Pocket knife set

To solve problems thoughtfully with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

Fire

To communicate your ideas more effectively, and get your message across.

Find out more about our programs

And many more...

Your education covers topics that coding bootcamps don't include, such as UML diagrams, architecture, object-oriented design principles… and more.

What sets Coyotiv School of Software Engineering apart from other coding bootcamps is our integration into a software engineering ecosystem. Our students have access to real-world experience through the Coyotiv Collaboration Platform, which offers software engineering services to businesses in the industry.

Our course does not require any previous professional coding experience, as we will provide the necessary programming knowledge using JavaScript during the first month of the course. This will prepare you for the rest of the program. That being said, having some prior experience with coding or a basic understanding of the concepts can be helpful.

Why should I choose Coyotiv among so many alternatives?

Become a Coyotiv apprentice

What sets Coyotiv apart is our focus on practical learning and personalized support. Adopting the software craftspersonship movement, we take our students on as apprentices. Just like master artisans, master software developers have their own styles, and they will expand those styles to schools and teach the path to their apprentices. While it would take years to learn everything from scratch, finding a good master and being a dedicated apprentice can provide a fast track to success.

Who teaches at Coyotiv?

At Coyotiv, you'll be learning from world-class professionals who have years of firsthand experience in the tech industry. The course is designed and taught at length by Armagan Amcalar, a master craftsperson who entered the craft of programming over 20 years ago. Acting as a team lead, software architect, engineering manager and CTO, Armagan has led hundreds of people in the industry and supported them through their career journey. The curriculum he designed is based on the everyday practices we actually use as the Coyotiv engineering team.

Start building your portfolio immediately to show prospective employers

You will learn by working on your dream project, from day 1. At the end of the course, you will finalize your project and be ready to launch products on your own. You will master software engineering practices including OOP, software architecture, design patterns, REST APIs, CI/CD and git in depth. You’ll learn the ins and outs of modern component-based frontend development with Vue.js; dig databases with MongoDB and cover backend development with Node.js.

Story-based learning

Our instructors will guide you through this end-to-end journey, providing a story-based education that allows you to apply what you learn directly to your project. Rather than following a traditional "theory first, then practice" approach, we emphasize a simultaneous combination of both. Instead of a one-size-fits-all curriculum, we focus on providing a collaborative, creative, hands-on learning experience that will help you to get a sense of how transitioning to your new career will look like.

You’ll experience what it means to work in a team with other aspiring engineers, communicate your ideas clearly and effectively, and manage your time so that you deliver quality software, right on time. That's why we teach you the fundamentals of Agile and Lean development and project management on your own project.

Mentality of modern software engineering

Numerous students changed their lives at the end of this intense 14-week program and graduated as confident software engineers, ready to learn the next technology whenever it comes out, because they now understand the mentality of modern software engineering. Career coaching sessions and preparation for job applications is an essential part of this journey. And even after you've landed your dream job (which 80% of our students do within six months of completing the course), you'll always be a part of the Coyotiv community. Just like a pack of coyotes, supporting each other...

Study first, pay later with an ISA

You can participate in Coyotiv's full-stack software engineering program with an Income Share Agreement (ISA). This is a fair financial solution that aims to make Coyotiv more accessible and ensure everyone can receive a quality education regardless of their financial circumstances.

With an Income Share Agreement (ISA), you can focus on your software engineering education at Coyotiv, while CHANCEN eG takes care of your tuition fees. Once you start working in a company or establish your own startup, you start making income-based repayments to finance the tuition fees of future generations.

You might be eligible for an Income Share Agreement (ISA) if:

If you have lived in Germany for at least two years (prior to the start date of your chosen program) and still living in Germany.

You are above 18 and under 45 years old

You may check out the eligibility criteria here . You can also book a video call with one of our team members of just fill out the application form and we will get in tough with you.

Here's a brief overview of how ISA works:

1) Study first

While you focus on Coyotiv's full-stack development course, CHANCEN eG will cover 100% of your tuition fees with its income-sharing agreement (ISA).

2) Start repaying after finding a job

Contrary to regular loans, your repayments are made to the Chancen eG community, and they are based on your income. You do not have a fixed amount of debt, but rather a repayment plan that is tailored to suit your individual financial capacity.

3) Repay based on your income

Repayments only start when you earn above the minimum threshold of 27,000 Euros gross. This ensures that the repayment plan is only activated when you can really afford it.

4) The repayment stops

The repayment value is capped and reaches a maximum amount. A high income does not mean that the repayments are excessively high.
